In June 2019, in Chengdu, China, at the bidding site for semiconductor equipment - vacuum welding furnaces of a well-known domestic company. Companies from the United States, the Netherlands, Japan, and Shandong Caiju - four companies - were fiercely competing...

Shandong Caiju has won the bid.

The full name of Shandong Caiju is Shandong Caiju Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., and its headquarters is in Zibo. Competing against international leading manufacturers of semiconductor equipment is a scenario that Shandong Caiju has experienced many times. Let's take a look at some of Caiju's competitors:

Automatic vacuum welding machine: VS - a well-known company from Germany and another well-known company from the United States;

Automated CLIP: VS A well-known company in the Netherlands;

Automatic thick film screen printing machine, chip testing machine: VS Competitor from Taiwan

Let me interject first. The newly acquired chip testing machine can achieve a speed that is 3.5 times that of similar machines in Taiwan.

These competitors are all leading enterprises among global semiconductor equipment manufacturers. For instance, this company from the Netherlands is one of the largest semiconductor equipment manufacturers in the world. A well-known company from Germany, whose vacuum welding furnaces are used in the manufacturing of high-power module IGBTs, accounts for 90% of the market share in this field.

The result of multiple concurrent competitions is as follows: Among the top ten power device manufacturers in China's semiconductor industry, four have become long-term customers of Caiju. And this is not the end; the competition continues...

According to the classification criteria set by Document No. 300 of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Shandong Tiaoju is still considered a small-sized enterprise.

This is just such a small enterprise:

In 2017, the invention patent "Intermittent Linear Transmission Device" won the "Outstanding Award" of the 19th "China Patent Award".

In 2018, it ranked as a major applicant for PCT applications in Shandong Province.

In 2020, it was recognized as a "Specialized, Skilled, Technologically Advanced and Innovative Enterprise of Shandong Province".

In 2021, the production equipment was recognized as the first-of-its-kind technology equipment in Shandong Province.

It was recognized as an Enterprise Technology Center by Zibo City in 2021.

In 2022, it was recognized as a "Growth Enterprise" in Shandong Province.

In 2022, the "Automatic Film Joining Machine" was recognized as the first (and only) technological equipment of its kind in Shandong Province.

In 2023, the "Semiconductor Automated Packaging and Testing Equipment" independently developed by our company was recognized as one of the innovative industrial products of Zibo City in 2023 (the first batch).

Was included in the list of outstanding enterprises and outstanding entrepreneurs in the Shandong Province's electronic information industry in 2023.

There are many such honors...

This is such an enterprise that holds 17 Chinese invention patents, 54 utility model patents, 2 design patents, 10 software copyrights, 8 PCT patents, 8 Japanese invention patents, 1 Korean invention patent, and 4 German utility model patents.

The numbers are still constantly changing.

When Justu began its operations, it focused on researching and developing the packaging and testing processes and equipment for power semiconductor devices. It grew through relying on its own intellectual property rights.

At present, the company's independently developed intermittent linear transmission device, automatic CLIP device, thick film screen printing machine, glass scraping machine, and chip testing machine have completely revolutionized the working principles and efficiency of traditional transmission devices, and all are innovative technologies in the industry.

Vacuum welding furnaces and automatic CLIP equipment have significant advantages in the application of MOS transistors and IGBTs in the production of third-generation semiconductor materials. The void rate that these equipment can achieve and the CLIP process are at an advanced level worldwide.

The company's multiple vacuum chamber technology is on par with the most advanced multi-vacuum chamber technology currently recognized by the international community, which belongs to a well-known German company.

The honeycomb-type static vacuum welding furnace independently developed by the company is a device that meets the process requirements of customers. It ensures the welding quality of chips reaches the highest level to date, breaking the monopoly of foreign countries on vacuum welding technology in China's semiconductor packaging and testing field.

Moreover, all these advanced semiconductor equipment are completely owned by the company with its own independent intellectual property rights.

The semiconductor industry chain is very long. In each stage, our country faces the tasks of technological breakthroughs and import substitution. Here is a simple diagram to help friends understand the basic composition of the semiconductor industry chain:

From this diagram, it can be seen that chip manufacturing and packaging require the support of semiconductor machinery equipment. Shandong Caiju is located in the semiconductor equipment manufacturing sector and focuses on the design, research and development, and production of power semiconductor equipment.
